What will I actually learn inside SSAT?

You'll learn the "what" and the "why" of five common areas where aspiring and working performers usually falter or fall, specifically on these foundationally important areas–presenting, marketing, and developing your talent–that even experienced performers can be doing wrong.

Even slightly wrong focus or presentation in these areas can slow or halt progress.

How much time will watching all the SSAT videos take?

Just slightly over 1 hour! But don't rush it. Think about each one closely. Watch more than once, if you can.

What will I discuss with the Coach during my bonus 1-on-1 Talent Success call?

When you book a call (the link to book is in your confirmation email), you'll schedule a time.

Plan to have watched the 1 hour of SSAT content BEFORE the one-on-one Zoom meeting, but book the call now... because times fill up!

You can also include your headshots, resume, website, or other links on the booking form. Please be respectful of this offering and the Shine Mentor's time; show up ( 5 minutes early), and don't cancel last minute.

On the call, you'll share a bit of your story, including your performer level, your journey to get there, and your current struggles. The Shine Mentor will coach you a bit and offer some ideas about what you're missing or what might be helpful to focus on moving forward.

I'm a parent of a kid or teen actor. How will this help?

If your talented kid or teen is under 16, YOU are the person who needs to learn all of the "business of showbiz." Their job is to have fun doing what they love. SSAT will help you understand what the industry needs YOU to have in place for your talented child or teen to succeed. We'll offer advice on how to help them move forward safely, cost-effectively, and efficiently... by showing you how to plan and focus your time. If your kid is 17-22-ish, then it can be helpful for you BOTH to learn the content inside SSAT, so you can help them make wise decisions and investments.

What if I live in a country other than the US. Will SSAT help me?

Absolutely! The knowledge you gain here is timeless and universal. Why? Because branding (knowing how and where you fit into the industry), marketing, and presentation of your talent... are needed everywhere, whether you want to work locally or shine in blockbuster films. Shine students and grads come from all over the world.

I already have an agent. How will this help me?

The industry moves quickly. It's an insider club, and it doesn't give much room for mistakes in the way you're presenting yourself. You know both of these facts well... if you're already in it.
